This house has so much to offer…lots of charms and history. Very well preserved and maintained by the owners. The owners and their team were very welcoming and helpful before and during our stay. If you are looking for a charming retreat in the heart of the Andalusian country side, this is the house you need. I highly recommend it.

We, a party of 18 relatives mostly comprising adults in their 20s plus their parents, had a fantastic time here. Really well equipped including sports equipment and a couple of bikes. The pool area is lovely – next to a large outdoor eating area and close to the house. There's a ball court and a table tennis table. We hardly left the place because the kids were having so much fun. However, Granada is well worth a visit. There are loads of things to do nearby (via Ferrara, horse riding). We were just having such a great time at the villa that we didn't feel the need to do much else. We were also lucky enough to have the local caterers on a couple of nights. Gorgeous food, with vegetarian options. The family had a really happy, special time. Thanks for making your lovely house available to us and also for being so thoughtful with respect to all the amenities.

Amazing house and we had the best time. Thankfully it’s so big, so even with 18 people, you never feel like you are on top of each other and there are lots of gorgeous terraces you can take yourself off to. The communication throughout our booking and during our stay was amazing. The house has lovely character and so many communal spaces to hang out but also quieter areas. We spent most of the week in the house because there wasn’t a lot to do in the surrounding areas but the house lends itself well to this and we didn’t feel bored ever. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful location and lovely premises for our large family vacation of 18 persons. Ample bedrooms, and common areas as well as quiet getaway spaces and great sports facilities. The pool area was particularly attractive and when combined with the outdoor dining area made it a magical location.

Wonderful, characterful accommodation perfect for a large family holiday or gathering. We were a group of 10 adults and 11 children and everyone loved El Molino del Conde. Lovely remote away from it all location and yet only an hour's drive away from Malaga Airport.

I cannot recommend El Molino del Conde highly enough. A group of 17 adults visited for a week to celebrate mine and my husband's 60th birthdays. I had been put in contact with the wonderful Kimberley, who manages the house, a couple of months before we arrived. Kimberley was beyond amazing and organised a shop for our arrival so that we had all the essentials including wine and beers!! The house and it's surroundings were even more beautiful than the photographs on the website. Even though we were a large group we never felt on top of one another and there are plenty of terraces that smaller groups can use if they want some seclusion. We had the wonderful ladies from the village come in on three occasions to cook for us. WOW! So much delicious food cooked from scratch and all the clearing away taken care of too. We used the coach company recommended on the website for our airport transfers and a couple of day trips - would definitely recommend. If you need a large house for a special occasion or if you are just a large family or group of friends I don't think you could find anywhere better than El Molino del Conde. I am sure we will return.

Spent ten wonderful days here with family. Stunning location with walks and bike rides from the door. Traditional finca feel with so many hidden terraces to hide with a drink and book - morning coffee on one watching sunrise, evening beer on another watching sunset. Mornings spent playing games - badminton, table tennis, football. Then afternoons lazing around the pool with several shady terraces - the hammock was a late afternoon favourite. We were five couples - me and hubby had the Hayloft which was lovely and airy with high ceilings. My daughter and partner had the Yellow room - they could have accessed from the front of the house but usually accessed from kitchen through another (unused by us) bedroom which had a few low head height bars but once you got used to them it was OK and they loved the space and bathroom My bro and partner had the double at the other end of the main house which had a number of low beams but despite being 6 foot 4 he coped no problem. My lads and their partners had the Garden and Chimney rooms in the Casita - having their own space and little kitchen and terraces was something they loved. There were several private spare bedrooms too in both the main house and casita. Everyone appreciated having their own en suite felt v luxe! Kitchen / dining room / living room all open to each other so one lovely big space. Made all our meals as plenty of cooking and prep space and having a big fridge for food and another for drinks was perfect - also the small fridge on the main terrace by pool became the beer fridge - perfect! We used the Sonos system to have music on in the background in the evenings whilst we played more table tennis and card games on the terrace. Explored local town of Iznajar and the lake which was lovely. Local villages of Villanueva de Tapia and Fuente del Conde were also good to explore with a couple of places to atop for a drink. We stocked up en route at the Mercadona in Archidona and had a big shop a few days later at Carrefour in Antequera which has an amazing selection of 0 alcohol lagers as well as fab fresh fruit, veg and deli. We were welcomed and looked after amazingly by the whole team, from our initial contact with the owner, Remco, Kimberly the house manager who met us and showed us round and helped out with a number of requests during our stay and the garden / pool team who kept everything perfect. We will be returning. (So I guess I should rate this one star and say it’s terrible so you don’t all book it when I want to go!) Thank you so much for an utterly amazing time!

Très agréable maison bien située pour rayonner et découvrir l’Andalousie. Idéal pour des vacances familiales avec des enfants.
